Yes! All Season 1 episodes (6 episodes covering AWS Solutions Architect Associate topics) are completely free. Optional in-app purchases are available for coins, hints, and ad removal, but they're not required to complete the content.
Season 1 covers topics from the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification. We're planning additional seasons for Professional and Specialty certifications based on user feedback.
DayOneCloud teaches core AWS concepts through practical scenarios, which helps build foundational understanding. However, we recommend supplementing with official AWS documentation, practice exams, and hands-on lab experience for comprehensive exam preparation.
Currently, progress cannot be reset. If you'd like to replay episodes, you can create a new account. We're considering adding a replay feature in a future update.
Yes! Episodes are downloaded for offline play. However, you'll need an internet connection for initial downloads, syncing progress across devices, and practice mode features.
You earn coins by making optimal decisions in episodes. Each optimal choice awards coins based on the decision's complexity. You can also purchase coin packs if needed.
Hints provide guidance on decision points, helping you understand the trade-offs between options. Use them when you're stuck or want to learn more about a specific choice. You can earn hints through gameplay or purchase them.
Absolutely! Every decision affects multiple metrics (budget, security, performance, uptime, team trust). Some decisions trigger delayed consequences that appear in later episodes, teaching long-term architectural thinking.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your data from our servers. Please note this action cannot be undone.
